The Customer

TBS is a company who provide fastener solutions to industry on a global scale. TBS have successfully been supplying to the OE, OES, and the After-Market industries for over 10 years, which gives us an in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry.

We are a unique business within the automotive industry, assisting customers where no other company can. The TBS team care about their work, and pride themselves on the solid reputation which precedes them.

Total Bolt Solutions was originally established in 1975 as Fixings, the company progressed through supplying fasteners to the Construction, Industrial, and Nautical industries. From there the business grew in size, and the Fixings reputation for quality and service was born.

In 2003 Total Bolt Solutions was established, and from this point on we were responsible for supplying the Automotive and Specialist manufacturing industries.

The Challenge

TBS have expanded their operations into new offices across Europe and as a longstanding client of Main-Tel having worked together for over 10 years they had no hesitation in putting their faith with Main-Tel that they could deliver the right solution in the most cost effective manner.

TBS wanted to upgrade their existing Traditional communications system in Middlesbrough and link it with their new office in Rome, Italy along with remote Sales staff covering Poland, Russia and Germany. This had to offer a solution that allowed a caller to dial a local 01642 prefix and still be a received across Europe by any of the telephones or mobile/tablet device. Calls across the company also had to be free of charge.

The Main-Tel Solution

Our project planning team were able to provide the solution with no problems via our Hosted Telephony Solution – MHVX, this allowed us to provide VoIP Telephones into the main office in Middlesbrough and to port their existing 01642 Geographical Number onto our voice cloud platform. We were able to programme the required VoIP handsets in the UK and ship across to Rome, Italy ready for plug and play, something the client found extremely easy and hassle free.  

We then had the task of installing our Soft App client Call Feature onto the IPad’s of the Sales Team across Europe and linking them into the platform as extension from the TBS Hosted Cloud System, again the client was extremely pleased with how easy and painless this task was and how quick it was all up and running.

Result

TBS now have a Cloud based unified communications solution that meets their needs now and in the future perfectly, not only do they have a new and improved system in Middlesbrough they are able to answer calls across Europe as if they were sat behind their desk in Middlesbrough with perfect HD Voice clarity.

TBS are able to call and conference any of the remote Sales Team or call from Middlesbrough to Rome and vice versa free of charge, reducing their costs by over 50%.
