Main-backup Reliability
With Main-backup, you can be sure that your data is secure - even if your premises have been compromised due to disaster, theft, or system crash. We maintain state-of-the-art servers in a secure location utilising the best off site security system available today.
Main-backup Cost Effectivness
Main-backup is by far a more cost effective backup system than maintaining your own on site backup. If your system is damaged, or goes down:
• No cost of replacement equipment
• No additional personnel or time is required to recover your data
• Minimal production down time
How Offsite Data Backup Works
1. Backup software is installed on the client workstation/server.
2. Data is compressed and encrypted at the client's machine prior to its transfer.
3. Main-backup will perform an initial backup of the entire data.
4. Encrypted data is transferred to our secure servers via the LAN / Internet.
5. Files recovered are still encrypted during the transfer back to the client.
6. For security purposes, only the clients' computer can decrypt the files.
